The process of reverse engineering Search Engine results. REObot calculates how a Search Engine decides what are relevant results based on the search term of a person. Only the Search Engine truly knows precisely how it does this and therefore any SEO techniques used by SEO service companies like Portal Express, are a collection of skills, knowledge and understanding of the Search Engine built up over time.

A Bot called Backrub started doing this in 1996, this was later called Google, REObot analyses the Search Engines results and reverse engineers them to calculate a website's back-links. The immensity of calculating competitor websites can be great, for example, if you have between 6 – 10 keyword/key-phrases and you have 10 search results for each keyword/key-phrases, that’s 100 website pages to analyse for keyword density before you even start drilling down into the core links of the website and before you begin to analyse what back-links there are.

You could say REObot has his own diamond tipped drill bit, one that pierces through website surfaces and straight to each core in milliseconds to mine the data. REObot is configured to analyse a maximum of 10 core website links for keyword density so that  he returns results from 1000 web pages with a word count between 300 and 2000. That’s why REObot is such a valuable commodity (he’s a little trooper).

The human element of REObot* SEO analyses the data mind by REObot to select the top performing keywords/key-phrases. In most cases one of the essential elements of this process is to focus on “local” highly used search terms. This filters irrelevant search noise and yields clearly defined best performing search volume statistics that are highly relevant to your business and its website.
